Eric is a 30 year veteran of the Star Tribune that left during the paper’s contraction. The Center for Independent Media commissioned a special blog design for Eric. The site was designed to have a newspaper meets new media feel. Careful configuration of WordPress has allowed the site to hold up to massive traffic spikes when Eric has broken stories.In January of 2008, Eric began writing for MinnPost.com. EricBlackInk.com was incorporated into their site, but still lives on in an archived version.
